This presentation will focus on a recent project in which students from Jamestown Lawn Ave. School worked with the Conanicut Island Sailing Foundation and a Professor from CCRI to create drifters to measure the currents around Jamestown. Attendees will learn how the partnership was set up, how the classroom was transformed into a workshop, and the lessons that led up to and that followed the construction.
