Danielle Margarida

Danielle Margarida is the Youth Services Coordinator at the Rhode Island Office of Library and Information Services, where she coordinates statewide reading programs for youth, develops and facilitates professional development for public librarians, and collaborates with with other agencies for information sharing, cooperative projects and school/public library partnerships. Danielle holds a Masters in Library and Information Science from URI, and has most recently been trained as a facilitator for the Young Adult Library Services Association's grant funded project Transforming Teen Services, Train the Trainer (T3) project. T3 brings together state library agency youth consultants and frontline library staff from each U.S. state/territory for a robust training program that aims to help build connected learning, computational thinking, cultural competence, and other skills to better serve and meet the learning needs of youth in their communities.
